See Baby and the COVID-19 pandemic
We recognize that there is a lot going on right now, and that the situation with COVID-19 is evolving. We can share with you how the pandemic is effecting See Baby and our patients today:
In the Office
As of now there are not any changes to in office appointments BUT we ask that if a patient suspects they or their children are ill (cough, sneeze, fever, etc) please reschedule to a later date in consideration of social distancing and ensuring the safety of our patients and staff.
Atlanta Medical Center and laboring patients
- One support person in triage
- Two support people in the labor room; and they have to stay for the duration of the labor; they can go to the cafeteria (limiting the back and forth)
- All hospital entry after 5pm is through the Emergency Department for temperature screening.
Otherwise, mindfulness regarding social distancing and sanitizing is advised.
Updates by WellStar and specific to AMC will be provided daily. Significant changes will be passed along to See Baby patients and staff. For more information about the coronavirus, please refer to the CDC website.
Be well, and please wash your hands.
